This problem most often occurs after updating Windows. Especially on PCs that have not been restarted for a long time. After booting up the PC, the Mebon SCADA service is running, however, if we open the web client at the localhost address and press Ctrl + F5, the page will display an error.
To resolve this, simply open the “Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager” application. Here we expand the tree on the left and find the page “MerbonScada_Web”. The web will be stopped and it can't be runned. When you try to start it, you receive the error: “This site cannot be started. I probably use the port on another site. ”
The problem can be solved by right-clicking on the web, where we select the option "Edit bindings". The dialog box will have double port 80 or 443 if we use SSL encryption. Check the second port definition (it probably won't have a hostname) and remove it. So let's leave one link, see:Then select the web in the tree and click on "Run" in the right part of the window. It should now be possible to log in to SCADA after viewing the "localhost" page.
