If the MMIO module is used in the RcWare SoftPLC environment and the temperature is measured with passive Pt1000 sensors, select the range 0…1600 Ohm, not Pt1000, when setting the input ranges with the ModCom Tool program. The Pt1000 range provides an already linearized temperature in degrees °C for use in external systems where the linearization curve would have to be programmed. In a SoftPLC environment that expects a resistance value and performs linearization automatically in the program, meaningless values would be read.
