Incorrect display of diacritics in Vision and Win 8/10/11

In this case, the installation of the Czech version of the MS Sans Serif font, which is used by the RcWare Vision program, helps. Procedure eg HERE.

It is necessary to check: Control Panel \ Clock, Language, and Region \ Region and Language \ Administrative \ Language for non-Unicode programs - set to Czech

If the foreign language has non-original text and distorted diacritics in it (eg in the Hungarian version "Czech" texts), it is necessary to turn off UTF-8 support:

  • start the commandline and type control intl.cpl,
  • "Message" tab,
  • change local setting of the system,
  • "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8…" parameter must be OFF,
  • and restart.
