In version 1.5.3, an error occurs that is caused by version 3.1 of the .NET Core SDK. This version was created only after the release of the SCADA version and it was not possible to come to the problem earlier. At the same time, it is possible that this problem will occur in the future when installing SCADA on a PC, where there are newer versions of supporting software that have not yet been released at the time of release.
The error manifests itself by displaying ERROR after installation: “Cannot setup default domain.” Subsequently, it is not possible to start the Domain server. When trying to log in to localhost: 9696, the window displays the error: “Server is not responding”.
The solution is to uninstall the current version of the .NET Core SDK and install the version that was current at the time of the SCADA version release (for version 1.5.3 it is version 2.1 LTS). This version is always mentioned in the installation manual for the given SCADA version.
